The interior of the trailer has verticle steel extrusions every 10 - 12 inches with 1/4 plywood in between. The sides of the trailer are 1 1/4 thick.

网页2019年2月22日 — Like the 2x4 tube the springs are hung from are exactly 6’ wide. The 7’ width was built out from there and the axles spring perches are just that much further inboard. I cut out the inner fender sheet metal and made tube fenders. This is a couple year old factory trailer so it may be common practice.

For the roof I would go for an X frame to the four corners. Same for the front. I would go marine grade plywood 1/2" for the roof, and give a good overlap for a gutter.

网页2017年3月25日 — Heres a Pace 20' extra tall trailer that I rehashed. Wasnt any damage to it other than hail damage on one side. Someone ordered it with 3500 lbs axles. So I swapped in 5k lbs axles and tore up the floor, added some rectangular tubing inbetween the manufacturers flimsy supports. So now they were 12" OC instead of 24".

They have bows, skins, uprights, etc. Talk to the parts manager to get trade pricing and it will get closer to reasonable.

I am sure you can figure out the rest.
