That will be too far off to work. The only entry on CJ's tables that would work is a 7 speed Shimano shifter with an old Dura-ace rear mech.

Rims need to be for rim brakes (ie not disc) and not super narrow (look for 17mm internal rim width or more than half the width of the tyres the frame has room for).

网页2009年6月7日 — Definitely a cassette? Or might it be a screw-on freewheel? If a cassette, you'll need to change the freehub body too. If a freewheel (you can get 8 speed ones, but they're rarer) then it's just a case of re-spacing the axle ( so the longer freewheel body doesn't foul against the frame) and possibly a bit of re-dishing the wheel.
