网页2013年2月14日 · The only area where Morton was superior was with 26 gauge metal and that costs less than $1000 to upgrade with my builder. A lot of people justify Morton's higher cost with their warranty. On my oldest Morton building built in 1984 the columns have rotted off at ground level.

Not saying you paid to much, but I just replace two post frame buildings, a 60 ft by 70 ft for $22,500 and a 50 ft by 50 ft for $18,500 they are by a local builder, no names on them.

I know it cost more but finally after 70 years I have learned to just get what I want. I've been replacing all the posts in the buildings built in the 60's and 70's.

网页2011年5月19日 · Wick buildings are dealership network. Morton Buildings is a construction company. One of the local Wick dealers in NC Kansas really did a poor job and put a bad rap on Wick. Morton uses a commercial grade 26 guage steel. Wick uses a lighter hi-tensile steel which is more brittle due to the addtional carbon. Both use screws if desired.

网页2015年4月24日 · On the same size building, Wick is 45k, Morton 54k. In my experience, Wick is always cheaper, but if you equip them the same, the a lot of the difference goes away. Build the Morton. My friend built a Wick 8 years ago because of the price difference. Another friend built a Lester for the same reason.

Williamsport IN. we built our shop 60x60x18 in 2004 added 100ft of cold storage in 2007 love the building. Also in 2010 built a 30x40x14 building. We have had an awesome crew and you cant even tell that we added on.
