网页2013年6月12日 · Two-part answer. 1) AE's carry-on policy is the same as mainline AA. 2) AE's overhead bins are *tiny*, so anything bigger than a soft duffel or backpack must be valet-checked at the gate, just because a standard carry-on won't fit. Especially on the ERDs, which are one of the smallest jets in the fleet. Sorry.

It'll fit in the overhead of every DL bird sans the CR2, where it will fit under the seat, but leaving seatmate with about a foot of legroom space - for which I intentionally avoid the CR2s for their last remaining months unless flying with a family member.

But if I'm in a regular seat it goes in the overhead. If they start trying to force bags under the seat then I'll be forced to bring a bag that doesn't fit under the seat. Reply.
