This gives a nice clean, smooth hull for the paint. Its a messy job and quite labor intensive so I want to come up with something that could be quicker.

网页2007年4月20日 · Hi Jjohn, A warm welcome to the forum. Toplac and Brightside are both white spirits based paint, so you can use White Spirits to clean brushes with. The Thinners No1 is as far as I'm aware a better grade of white spirits, so should be used if you are wanting to thin the paint for any reason. Other than that use bog standard white spirits.

When you get the last coat on and sanded to remove brush marks, sand with very fine wet and dry, down to 1000 grit, then polish with compound and finally wax it.
