The winning tender includes the design, supply and installation of baseball lights using steel poles in the amount of $349,921 by Brant Municipal Enterprise Incorporated with labour bringing the project to $432,000.

Fire at former Roman school in Elliot Lake

Few details are available at this time but it is believed the fire started around midnight at the former Roman Avenue school. The school had been closed in 2016 and a private developer had been looking into turning it into apartments.
