I think of Mitchelville Freedom Park and Mitchelville Beach Park as 2 different places. I've been to Gullah Festivals at the Freedom Park, which is in the same area but is not right on the beach. When I go to the beach, I drive down Mitchelville Road to the parking lot for Mitchelville Beach Park and it is adjacent to the beach.
