Nearly 138,000 platform beds sold at major retailers including Amazon and Walmart are being recalled across the U.S. and Canada.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a notice Thursday that 138,000 Lucid platform beds are being recalled in the U.S. and Canada because they can collapse while in use, leading to an increased risk of injury.

A popular bedding brand issued a recall of over 137,000 platform bed frames after reports that they can collapse. See if your frame is part of the Lucid bed recall.

The company that owns the beds said it has received 245 reports about the beds, with at least 18 injuries also reported.

Lucid-branded platform beds with upholstered square tufted headboards because they might break or collapse during use. The recall applies to Twin, Full, Queen, King, and Cal-King-sized beds. The beds were sold in stores and online at Amazon.
