Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Mike Hilton suffered an apparent leg injury during the first quarter of the NFL Week 4 game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium.

Trey Hendrickson, in his ninth NFL season and fifth with the Bengals, had a career-best 17.5 sacks last season.

After the Panthers moved into the red zone on the opening possession, cornerback Mike Hilton went down in the end zone following a Carolina run play. He was favoring his left knee while being examined by trainers.

A bill championed by Paris Hilton requiring state oversight and increased transparency at youth residential treatment facilities became law on Friday.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a California bill into law that would increase protections for youth placed in treatment facilities, a measure backed by celebrity Paris Hilton.

Children and teens – especially those in the care of the foster system – should never be subjected to improper use of restraints, or isolation while they are meant to be receiving treatment," Newsom said in a Friday release.
