Indian tech services giant Infosys has scored a deal to write code for Swedish electric vehicle outfit Polestar. Infosys on Wednesday announced it will work on in-car infotainment, advanced driver assistance, telematics, software and electrical/ electronics engineering, user experience (UX), and unspecified "cloud-powered digital services."

As part of this partnership, Infosys will establish a global technology hub for Polestar at its development centre in Bengaluru

Polestar executives believe that the partnership with Infosys will "generate IT efficiencies and empower innovation." They also expect it to support their expanding vehicle range and upcoming model launches.

BENGALURU: Infosys on Wednesday announced a strategic collaboration with Swedish electric performance car brand Polestar. The IT company will establish a global technology hub for Polestar at its development centre in Bengaluru.

Infosys in a filing with BSE, said it will also leverage in-tech, its latest acquisition in the R&D space, to complement the engagement. The IT major in April this year acquired in-tech, an engineering R&D services provider focused on German automotive industry.
