MINDEN, La. - The Louisiana State Police has taken over an investigation of an explosion at Camp Minden Wednesday morning.

A small explosion Wednesday at a Louisiana plant that makes black powder is under investigation. Multiple media outlets report no injuries were at Goex Industries, west of Minden in Webster Parish.

Cocoa powder can range from light tan to jet black with varying pH levels that affect how it interacts with other ingredients. Natural or non-alkalized cocoa powder is the most commonly used type.
