Washington is ushering in a new era as Jedd Fisch takes the reins as head coach, succeeding Kalen DeBoer. With most of the staff moving to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and the arrival of Mississippi State transfer Will Rogers, the Huskies are gearing up for a fresh start against their first Big 10 opponent.

If first-year coach Jedd Fisch and his rebuilt roster hope to secure a bowl berth in coming weeks, they had best handle Northwestern on Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies settled for field goals after driving inside the Washington State 30-yard line and then got stopped on fourth-and-goal from the 1 in the closing moments. Northwestern is allowing just 13 points per game through the first three games and just 57.7 rushing yards per game.
