BENGALURU: While all legislators have come out in support of Siddaramaiah continuing as chief minister despite the high court upholding the approval given by the governor to conduct an investigation against him in the MUDA case,

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Thursday that he was not guilty and will not resign from his post. He said this while reacting to the BJP and JD (S) demand that he should step down in view of the Special Court's order in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case.

Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tirade against CM Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has said that the PM is doing politics by raising this issue in political campaign.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reiterated on Thursday he will not resign as he again denied any wrongdoing in the allotment of 14 sites to his wife by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Terming the charges against him a "BJP conspiracy", Siddaramaiah said he would wage a legal fight.

The Karnataka BJP staged a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following a Special Court's order for a Lokayukta police probe in the MUDA site allotment case. The opposition claims illegal allotment of sites to Siddaramaiah's wife and calls for an impartial CBI investigation.
