After another decade of neglect, the Tivoli Auditorium is unsafe, asbestos filled, and must be demolished says a report submitted to the City of Hamilton seeking demolition approval.

A letter from Hamilton Farmers’ Market manager Donna Lee Macdonald to merchants yesterday confirmed the City believes money was siphoned from vendors.

The Hamilton Farmers Market states Hamilton Day was its busiest day since before the pandemic. Door counters at the Downtown Hamilton municipal facility counted 6,798 people visiting between 8:00 a.m.

Premier Doug Ford has announced the provinces consumption sites will close in March 2025, and be replaced by treatment hubs.

“The current vacancy rate is estimated to be 3.62% (258 units),” according to CityHousing Hamilton.
