San Diego leaders have announced a boost to the Hate Crime Fund and the creation of a dedicated unit to fight hate crime, in response to a rise in hate crimes in the region.
Local leaders announced a Crime Stoppers “Hate Crime Fund” to support the investigation and prosecution of hate crimes, putting up a $2,000 reward for tips.
