Washington — The 2024 election not only decided who will succeed President Biden in the White House, but in 10 states, voters also weighed in on abortion access through ballot measures.
A ballot measure that would have enshrined abortion rights in the Florida constitution fell short of the required 60 percent of voter approval, despite a majority of voters supporting the proposal.
Similar measures passed or expected to pass in seven states, but voters in Florida, Nebraska and South Dakota did not approve reproductive rights amendments on Tuesday.
