It’s been one year since the death of American hockey player Adam Johnson whose neck was fatally cut by an opponent’s skate during a game in Sheffield, England.

Adam Johnson, 29, died tragically last October 28th when he was cut by an opponent’s skate blade in an on-ice collision during a game in England’s Elite League.

Hundreds of Panthers fans in Nottingham have laid tributes to ice hockey player Adam Johnson ahead of the year anniversary since his death. The 29-year-old American suffered a fatal neck injury from a skate during a collision with Sheffield Steelers' Matt Petgrave on 28 October 2023.
